In the previous article, we introduced that the material of the external water brush is PP

Internal water solar cleaning brush Product Features:

*The pipe of the built-in water brush passes through the inside of the rod and connects to the water outlet inside the brush head.

*Water is transported to the brush head through the pipe inside the brush rod.

*Usually equipped with a built-in water pipe or a water outlet pipe in the middle of the telescopic rod.

*The water outlet of the brush head is evenly distributed, and water spraying and brushing are carried out at the same time.

*The bristles are soft and the brush head is made of high-strength PVC material.

The advantages and disadvantages of PP and PVC brush heads

1.Durability and service life

PP brush heads have better wear resistance, but long-term and vigorous brushing may cause the bristles to fall off or become deformed, making them suitable for daily cleaning; PVC brush heads are more wear-resistant, have better toughness, and are not easy to break, making them suitable for high-intensity cleaning or industrial use, but PVC is not resistant to high temperatures and is easily softened and deformed at high temperatures.

2.Chemical resistance and applicable cleaning agents

PP brush heads are resistant to acids, alkalis and oily cleaners, and are suitable for chemical cleaning scenarios such as kitchens and bathrooms; PVC brush heads have poor chemical resistance, and strong acids, strong alkalis or organic solvents may corrode PVC, so they are not suitable for strong chemical cleaning, but can be used for general dust cleaning.

3.Hygiene and mildew resistance

PP brush heads hardly absorb water, dry quickly, are not easy to breed bacteria, and meet food-grade safety standards. They are suitable for products with high hygiene requirements such as toothbrushes and bottle brushes. Although PVC brush heads do not absorb water, soft PVC may retain moisture, and some PVC contains plasticizers, which may breed mold in a long-term humid environment, making them unsuitable for food contact brushes.

4.Cost and environmental protection

PP material is moderately priced, recyclable (PP5), non-toxic when incinerated, and more environmentally friendly; PVC has a lower cost, but contains chlorine, is difficult to recycle, and may produce toxic substances when incinerated, making it less environmentally friendly.

5. Recommended brush types

PP is more suitable for food contact, personal care and chemical cleaning brushes (such as toothbrushes and dishwashing brushes); PVC is more suitable for wear-resistant and low-cost applications such as industrial brushes and floor brushes, but is not suitable for high temperature or food contact scenarios.
